Linas was Here

Hello, stranger. My name is Linas Vaitonis.

I’m a photographer, videographer, and visual storyteller drawn to themes of identity, imagination, and narrative. I started taking pictures just for fun. When I was twenty, I picked up my mother’s Nikon and began to shoot. What started as a spontaneous curiosity quickly turned into a deeper passion for creating images that feel like moments from a story.

For me, the biggest challenge is making sure the final image matches the one I’ve envisioned in my head. I love playing with unusual locations and cinematic atmospheres, aiming to create work that feels like a still from a film - where something is about to unfold, and the viewer is left with a sense of mystery or anticipation.

My work is rooted in storytelling, and I’m always searching for that emotional undercurrent that connects viewer and subject. I’m drawn to the nuances of daily life and how photography can explore identity, community, and self-discovery in subtle, visual ways.

I’m part of a new wave of image makers pushing the edges of visual language, and I’m available for commissions worldwide.
